Configuring TabiPlay (Quick Guide)

1.   Account and Network Setup

The first step configuring TabiPlay is to enter your login information to be able to connect to TabiStream. Click Settings button on the toolbar (second one from the right) or choose Settings from TabiPlay menu to bring up the Network settings page (Figure 1). Enter your username and password you setup in TabiStream.

If you setup direct LAN connection in TabiStream, check “Enable direct LAN connection” box and enter in “Server IP address” and “port” fields your streaming PC’s IP address and the port on which TabiStream is configured to stream.

2.   Configuring Streaming Parameters

On the Settings page, click on “Streaming” Tab at the top to open up the Streaming Settings page (Figure 2). Here, you can specify various parameters for streaming. If “Server sets video parameters” and “Server sets audio parameters” check boxes are selected, the parameters you configure on this page will not have any affect for video streaming and audio streaming, respectively. Therefore, if you would like these parameters to be effective, leave those two boxes unchecked.
